Corrections Policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
We aim to be accurate, and we correct mistakes promptly when we find them or when readers and brands point them out.
What we correct
- Wrong product details such as ingredients, concentration or bottle size.
- Prices or ratings recorded from the wrong product or variant.
- Factual errors in guides or news articles.
- Broken or incorrect source links.
How corrections are made
Product data is corrected in place and the product's check date is updated when it is re-verified. Routine price and rating changes are updates, not corrections. For articles, minor fixes such as typos are made silently; corrections that change the meaning of a sentence are noted at the end of the article with the date.
Outdated information
Prices and ratings carry the date they were checked. Ratings older than 30 days are removed from rankings until re-checked, as described in our ranking methodology.
Requests from brands
Brands may send factual corrections about their own products with a source (for example an official product page). We do not change rankings, ratings or editorial opinions on request.
